‘Bold Silhouette’ BABYMONSTER to Release ‘PSYCHO’ Performance Video on December 6
[동아닷컴=조성운 기자] The performance video for ‘PSYCHO’, a track from BABYMONSTER’s second mini album, will be released at midnight on December 6.
On the 4th, YG Entertainment posted a teaser titled ‘[WE GO UP] ‘PSYCHO’ PERFORMANCE VIDEO SPOILER’ on its official blog. The image of BABYMONSTER exuding a bold aura through striking silhouettes immediately captured attention.
Fans are already anticipating another high-quality YG-style production, on par with their music videos. The red-toned set, bursting with flames, vividly recreates the mysterious mood of ‘PSYCHO’, along with iconic outfits and lip-shaped props from the original music video, all hinting at a production of overwhelming scale.
Unlike the concept-heavy music video that left a strong impact through BABYMONSTER’s dramatic transformation, this performance video is expected to showcase a different kind of charm. Attention is particularly high as the full choreography will be officially revealed, including powerful stomping moves and key hand gestures that represent a “monster.”
‘PSYCHO’ is a track that combines elements of hip hop, dance, and rock. Its addictive chorus, heavy bassline, and the members’ powerful vocals have received positive reactions from listeners. Notably, the music video soared to No.1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart and “Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours” upon release, and has since surpassed 100 million views.
